The cast iron plate has good casting properties. It has low melting point and good fluidity. It also shrinks because of the stone nitrogen. In addition, the cost is low, and the refractory requirements of mold silicon and core sand are not high. It has become a widely used casting alloy.

　　Among the common cast iron platforms, the gray cast iron platform has good casting performance. It has good fluidity and can be used for casting small and thin-walled castings with complex shapes (the small wall thickness of castings is 5-6 mm). Besides the large castings, there are few risers except for large castings, and only exhaust ports can be set.

　　Generally, it can be casted by wet mold, so the equipment is simple, the operation is low, the production string is high and the cost is low. The nodular cast iron platform needs to go through the spheroidizing place before pouring, which may reduce the temperature of molten iron and reduce the sedimentability. The shrinkage of ductile iron platform is also larger than that of gray iron platform.

　　In the small machining process, firstly, the cast iron platform is positioned on the top of the machine, and then the fixture is used to fix it. Then, the tool is used to process the parts of the casting that need to be handled. After the processing is completed, the fixture is relaxed.
