The machine tool castings should be cleaned up after being used for a long time to remove the impurities. The cleaning process is to clean the measuring tool casting from the mold after the casting of the measuring tool is cooled, so as to obtain the measuring tool casting with no surface defects.

　　1) Sand cleaning: in order to obtain a measuring tool casting with good surface finish, the sand on the surface of small movable parts can be removed by cleaning the roller. The large movable parts are shot blasted to remove the sand on the surface.

　　2) Control of inspection process: through inspection, feedback the defects of measuring tool casting, find and analyze the causes, and take measures in time to reduce the occurrence of measuring tool casting defects.

　　3) Sanding: the measuring tool casting must be cooled sufficiently to remove the mold, generally not less than 3 hours.

　　4) Aging treatment: the general measuring tool casting should be aged to reduce the internal stress of the measuring tool casting and obtain good performance.

　　The above four links control makes the measuring tool casting to be qualified products. Each process is required to cooperate and coordinate with each other. Only by paying attention to details can the quality of each process be better controlled and improved, and the quality of cast iron plate casting can be inspected.
